Club Membership Fees

The Surrey Spartans Hockey Club aims to deliver the best experience possible to all our members whether on or off the pitch in a self-sufficient and sustainable manner. In order to do this it is necessary for us to generate income through the use of membership subscriptions. We offer a range of levels of membership aimed at accommodating all potential members. The cost of membership is set each year following the club budget review.

The membership subscriptions for the 2011/12 season will be as follows:

Full Membership £150 (TGTG offer £120)
Consessions Membership £100 (TGTG offer £80)
Part-time Membership £100 (max 10 games)
Social Membership £20

All subscriptions are due by 31st October. Non-payment of subscriptions will cause your membership to the club to cease or incur an additional fee. Students at the University of Surrey are eligible for a reduced membership fee (see below).

MID SEASON OFFER - New members can benefit from reduced memberships from 1st January 2012. Join now and get up to 33% off your membership fee, (does not include match fees). Offer ends 31st March 2012.:

Full Membership £100 (TGTG offer £75)
Concession Membership £70 (TGTG offer £50)

The match fees for the 2011/12 season will be as follows:

Full Members £10
Concessions £5
Part Time Members £10 (max 10 games)

University of Surrey Students
Students that are a full member of the University of Surrey Hockey Club can choose between the following special rates due to the new Team Surrey Deal:

Pay-as-you-go: £35 up front plus £5 match fee

How to Join the Club
The Surrey Spartans Hockey Club is open to all and is always on the lookout for new talent. It doesn’t matter whether you are a student of the University of Surrey or a local resident you are welcome to join. Becoming a member could not be simpler. Just get in contact, pay your subscription fee and that’s it, you are part of the community!

Never picked up a stick? Not a problem. The club has signed up to England Hockey's "Back to Hockey" programme and as a team of coaches capable to teach the complete beginner all you need to know to get involved. With teams competing at a wide range of levels there is a place for players of all abilities.
